The Geneva Watch Exhibition “Clocks and Miracles” breaks records, makes exciting debut, and reaches new heights

The 2025 Geneva Watch Exhibition “Clocks and Wonders” set a new historical high with over 55000 visitors! The public open day and “In The City” event have also achieved great success, fully proving that this exhibition is becoming increasingly attractive and has become a must see event. The rich new product releases and exciting events vividly showcase the thriving vitality of the Swiss watchmaking industry.
The total number of visitors to this watch exhibition exceeded 55000 (an increase of 12% compared to last year), receiving 6000 retail representatives (an increase of 5%), attracting 1600 media reporters (an increase of 7%), and selling 23000 public day tickets (an increase of 21%). From 43000 hotel nights (up 17%) to 12000 business meetings (up 21%), all indicators have significantly improved.
Cyrille Vigneron, President of the Geneva Foundation for Watches and Miracles, said, “Watches and Miracles has not only become an event that industry insiders cannot miss, but also a platform for watchmaking brands to showcase themselves. The event provides an opportunity for each brand to showcase their unique world, allowing people to appreciate and wear exquisite timepieces, and share their common love. It is not only a medium of communication, but also a carrier of display, and a bridge of emotional connection
This wave of innovation is reflected in the quantity and diversity of new product releases. Some brands pay tribute to tradition, while others focus on showcasing iconic collections. Women’s watches have become the focus, especially in the field of jewelry watches. The reduction in size has opened up a differentiated space for innovative interpretation of dial texture craftsmanship and color aesthetics. The proliferation of hollowed out watches also demonstrates the eternal charm of precision machinery, and multiple world first technological records confirm this technological achievement.
Numerous celebrities attended the event, including Simone Ashley, Usain Bolt, Roger Federer, Carl Lewis, and Hans Zimmer. Exhibiting brands, media journalists, opinion leaders, and YouTube bloggers have created a huge amount of interaction on social media# The watchesandwonders2025 topic reached an estimated reach of over 700 million before the end of the exhibition (an increase of 17% compared to last year).
As this year’s special guest group, the younger generation has shown a strong interest. Nearly 10000 young people have gained a deep understanding of watchmaking craftsmanship through exhibition visits, school activities, vocational education exhibitions, and the qualification round for SwissSkills 2025.
The highly anticipated “In The City” event was also a great success. Workshop and guided tour tickets quickly sold out. Watchmaking Village welcomes numerous teachers and students from schools in Geneva and surrounding areas. On Thursday evening, the brand boutique event continued with a magical atmosphere until the first melody of the Bon Entendur concert sounded. People of all ages gather together to celebrate this spring of watchmaking art.
